BIR Football

Eleven-a-side, every Friday, all levels welcome.

SportsOpen to join

BIR Football plays eleven-a-side, mixing casual kickabouts with practice sessions and friendly matches against other programmes, faculties, and universities.

Sessions run on both real grass and artificial turf, depending on where the club is playing that week.

Club culture

The club focuses on community and togetherness, carrying forward the culture associated with Singh Daeng, the Red Lion. Training is relaxed. Members usually go for food together afterwards, which is also a way to build connections across year groups.

BIR Football has a women's team as well as a men's team. Non-playing roles are open to anyone who wants to be involved behind the scenes. No football experience is required.
