Start a club

If a few of you share an interest that is not covered by an existing club, BIRSA can help you get a new one off the ground.

How it works

  1. 1Tell BIRSA your idea. Answer a few short questions about what the club would do and who it's for.
  2. 2Talk it through with the committee. A BIRSA committee member will get in touch to help you shape the idea and figure out what support you need (a room, a small budget, promotion).
  3. 3Start meeting. Run your first session, and BIRSA can help spread the word to other students.

Check what you need first

A club needs a certain number of members and a committee before the Faculty or the University will register it. The guided check tells you where you stand and what to sort out first.

What would you like to call the club?

It's fine if this changes later.
