Seminar on burnout and capitalism at Tha Prachan on 22 October

EventPublished 12 October 2026
When
22 October 2026
Where
Room R.103, Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University (Tha Prachan Campus)

Why do we feel we have to be productive all the time? We compete, work on ourselves and chase other people's idea of success, until the line between work and rest fades. Then we burn out and blame ourselves for not trying hard enough.

24/7 No Rest Under Capitalism asks whether that pressure is something we want, or something capitalism has locked us into. The BIR Student Association (BIRSA) runs the seminar as part of the BIRSA Seminar Series.
