BIRSA celebrates Pride Month 2026

BIR Student Association (BIRSA) joins in celebrating Pride Month 2026 and advocating for its rights and freedoms. Pride is not only a celebration. It is a long journey rooted in struggle, carried from the past into the present.

Thailand has made real progress, including the recent passage of its marriage-equality bill. The work is not finished. More than 60 countries still criminalise love, and young people continue to face pressure for being who they are.

Equality has to be built into policy and structure, not only marked through rainbow campaigns for a month each year. Visibility matters most when fair laws and a genuinely inclusive society back it. That is the Pride BIRSA stands for.
