Course description

This course examines some of the major debates in comparative political economy by focusing on the creation, evolution and reform of market institutions. The course begins with the discussion about some of the important writings in political economy. It will also examine the literatures on the political economy of the developed countries, the developing countries, and the post-Communist economies.
