Course description

This seminar investigates international conflict, war and peace. The course covers the evolution of theories and practices conducive to the analysis of the natures and patterns of the conflict and war in the present. Conflict prevention and resolution, peacekeeping, peacemaking and peace building will also be considered. Several concepts and theories will be used as a framework of analysis of post and current conflicts in the world.
