Last updated: 27 July 2026
Thammasat runs two free shuttle bus lines from the Tha Prachan campus, Monday to Friday. One is a quick hop to the MRT; the other loops across the river to the Pinklao area and back. Both are boarded in front of the Thammasat University Auditorium (หน้าหอประชุมมหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาสตร์).

Routes
The Sanam Chai Line is a straight shuttle between campus and the MRT, useful if you're heading onto the Blue Line. The Pinklao Line is a loop: it heads out to the Pinklao area, makes a full circuit of stops there, then comes back to campus. Two of its rounds each day also double as dormitory shuttles.

Good to know
Times are scheduled, not guaranteed
During peak hours, a bus can fall behind because of traffic. A missed departure is pushed back to the next scheduled slot rather than skipped. The printed times and the live countdown above are the schedule the buses aim for, not a live position. Build in a buffer if you're catching a train or exam.
- You can track the buses live in the Viabus app, which shows real-time positions rather than just the schedule.
- There's no shuttle service on Saturdays or Sundays. Plan weekend trips around the boat, MRT, or ride-hailing instead.
- Both lines start and finish at the same boarding point in front of the Auditorium. If you're unsure which bus you're looking at, ask there.
