What your library card entitles you to

As an undergraduate, your student card gets you:

  • Borrowing up to 25 books at a time, for 30 days.
  • Book Delivery, which moves a book between Thammasat's library branches for you, so you do not have to travel to the branch that holds it.
  • Full Text Finder, for locating articles, journals, e-books and theses.

Booking a study room

Rooms at Pridi Banomyong Library, including rooms for reading, working, meetings and a film room, are booked through the library's LINE official account.

Two names for the same account

The library's LINE account is published under both @Lifeonline and @TULIBLifeOnline. If one handle does not add correctly, try the other, or search for the library's official account by name inside LINE.

  1. Add the LINE account (or scan the library's QR code).
  2. Choose the Booking menu, then choose to book a room.
  3. Choose the room and time slot, and enter the co-booking code.
  4. Confirm the booking in LINE.

The film room comes with free Netflix and HBO Go.

Library of Things

The library also lends out equipment against your student card (physical card or the TU Greats App), including laptops, iPads, cameras, extension leads, heaters, hot water bottles and board games.

Free printing

Every student gets a free printing quota of 100 baht per semester, usable at:

  • Pridi Banomyong Library, floor U2.
  • The computer room, floor 2 of Puey Ungphakorn Library.

Research and writing support

  • Turnitin checks your own work, articles, research and theses for plagiarism before you submit.
  • AI Tools Services, mentioned above, does the same for AI-generated content, free of charge.
  • English abstract editing, through U-Services: upload your abstract and a language specialist edits it, returned by email within three working days. Questions: 02-613-3546 or tuabstractediting@gmail.com.
  • Other U-Services tools include Here to Help, for questions about using the library's services and research tools, and a Freepik and Flaticon image service for pulling images and icons for coursework.
