Course description
This course explores different approaches to diplomacy, which have evolved since the Congress of Vienna. Various cases studies of major current diplomatic events will be also examined for students to learn diplomatic practices, and how these diplomatic events and the subsequent agreements have had an impact on international relations. Class discussion is strongly encouraged.

Exam format: Both exams are sat in person and answered in essay form. To score highly you need to show you have read the assigned readings, not only the lectures. Group seminar presentations are expected but not marked.
Attendance: Attendance is not required and does not affect your grade, though the instructor may take roll at random.
