Course description

This course discusses history of different levels of international organisations, from The Hague conventions, the League of Nations, the United Nations and the World Trade Organization to various regional organisations. The course will highlight the structure, power, responsibilities, roles and operations of these organisations in resolving international problems in different aspects such as social, economic and political aspects, as well as consider successes and failures of international organisations.
