Course description

This course explores development and theoretical debates on the Middle East in a context of regional and international politics. It introduces historical trajectory of the Middle East and relations among states within the region. It aims to bring attention to the analysis of current events relevant to the Middle East such as the Arab-Israeli relations, the Arab League and the Middle East regionalism, the origin and consequences of the 2011 Arab uprising.
