Course description

The course studies modern geopolitics by introducing both classical and critical geopolitics. It examines the spatial conceptions of the world and the construction of geographical imaginations and discourses in the foreign policy making process and popular culture. The course covers the key issues in the study of geopolitics and engages with the contemporary dynamics of international relations. It also provides the discussion with the deep analysis of the examined country cases, including the United States, Russia, and China.
