Course description

This course introduces students to the political representation of film and draws attention to how the relationship between the visual and the spatial is constitutive of global politics. It uses popular films to make sense of global issues and better understand how they are part of everyday life politics. The course also situates film in the wider debate on theories and methods in International Relations.
