Course description

This course explores foreign policies and international roles of five major rising powers, namely, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. It examines a shift in power and wealth of these counties and assesses their changing positions in the configuration of cooperation and competition among the Great Powers in the 21st Century. This course also examines domestic factors that constitute their rise.
