Delays and live positions

Times are scheduled, not guaranteed

In heavy traffic a bus can run late. A late departure moves to the next scheduled slot and is not cancelled. The timetable and the countdown show the schedule, not where the bus is. Leave a buffer if you have a train to catch or an exam to sit.

The Viabus app shows live bus positions. Its free version is limited. Public buses are on Live bus times. At weekends use the boat, the MRT or ride-hailing, as described in Getting to Tha Prachan.

  • Live bus timesLive arrival times for the public buses at the three stops beside Tha Prachan.
  • Getting to Tha PrachanThere is no BTS or MRT station at the gate, so most students come by bus, by boat or on the free shuttle from MRT Sanam Chai.
